Welcome to the ORG event of the decade. Applications are now being accepted for Tontine: The Game, with a real cash prize.

The game shares a lot of characteristics with TAR. You can apply in pairs. Ten pairs will be accepted, and will each be given a "key."

Each round, there will be a "leg" complete with booking flight itineraries, following driving or public transit directions, completing a Detour, Roadblock, and more. This will all be controlled and distributed to you in a computer application made custom for this game.

At the end of the leg, the winning team will be rewarded with another key to the grand prize. However, the three teams that take the longest to complete the leg will be nominated for dissolution from the Tontine.

Then, all teams can vote for one of these three to be eliminated. With more keys, comes more power, because teams can cast one for every key in their possession. The team that gets eliminated can then leave their keys to another team still in the game.

In the end, three teams will compete on the final leg, and the first team to finish will win the $1,000,000 prize! (unfortunately, the currency of prize is in Sao Tome dobra, which roughly equates to $53.00 US but you'll still get it, by Amazon gift card or other method) :wink:

This game is designed to not monopolize your lives. There will only be eight legs in the entire game; each will be released live, but will also be open for at least 24 hours afterwards. Plus, since you apply with a partner, you don't even need to attend every leg if your schedule doesn't allow you.

The legs are currently scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays, but may be adjusted depending on the schedules of applicants, so apply regardless!

On a somewhat less interesting note: Hi, I'm Ryan. I've hosted 5 online ORGs before (but went into retirement roughly four years ago). In addition, I've hosted 9 real-life reality games (mostly for friends and family). So, the hosting concept isn't alien to me. This is, without question, the most time and effort I've put into a game: new concept, extensive (and IMO aesthetically pleasing) website, and a custom-designed software for each leg of the race, chock-full with a handful of mini-challenges for your liking.
